Fit & Size

Finding your STYLEVIRO fit

Fit is part of the design. A structured dress, a fluid column, and a close jersey silhouette may all feel different in the same labeled size. Always use the measurements and fit notes on the individual product page as your primary guide.

How to measure

Use a soft measuring tape over lightweight clothing or undergarments. Keep the tape level and comfortably close to the body without pulling it tight.

  • Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.

  • Waist: Measure around your natural waist—the narrowest point of your torso, usually above the navel.

  • Hips: Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat.

  • Dress length: Measure from the highest point of the shoulder down to the intended hem position.

  • Inseam or slit height: For long dresses, compare the listed slit placement and length with a dress you already own.

Compare with a garment you own

For the most reliable online comparison, lay a similar well-fitting dress flat and measure it without stretching. Double the flat bust, waist, and hip measurements to compare with the garment measurements shown on the product page. Fabric stretch, lining, seams, and cut can change how the final fit feels.

If you are between sizes

Choose based on the most fitted part of the silhouette. For a close or structured dress with limited stretch, sizing up usually allows more ease and may be tailored if needed. For a stretch knit or draped style, the smaller size may create a closer fit. Product-specific notes will indicate stretch level and whether the style fits true to size, small, or relaxed.

Length and proportions

Model height is a visual reference, not a guarantee of length. Compare the listed garment length with your own shoulder-to-hem measurement and remember that heels can change where a long hem falls. Petite and tall customers should pay particular attention to total length, waist placement, and sleeve length.

International size labels

Some products may use U.S., U.K., European, or letter sizing. The product page will show the relevant conversion or garment measurements whenever available. Because conversions differ slightly between brands, use actual measurements rather than relying only on the label.

Personal fit guidance

All measurements are approximate and may vary slightly by production batch and measuring method.
